When Your Business Isn’t Aligned… (And What Happens When It Is)

When I first started my business, I was so certain I was doing the right things.

I had years of experience, a whole toolkit of skills, and a deep understanding of what my clients needed. So I created services that I knew would help them. I set up my offers, wrote my copy, opened my calendar, and waited.

And the clients came.

But something was… missing.

I didn’t feel excited when people booked. I didn’t feel lit up doing the work. In fact, I often found myself feeling a little blah—like I was going through the motions, disconnected from the very vision that led me into business in the first place.

At first, I thought maybe I wasn’t cut out for this. Maybe my business wasn’t meant to succeed. Maybe I was missing something important. Maybe I was doing the wrong kind of business for me….

But the truth was—I was missing me.

I had built my business based on what I thought people wanted. Not on what I needed in order to feel energized, fulfilled, and aligned in the work.

And that’s when astrology found me.

What Your Venus Placement Reveals About Business Alignment

I was deep in conversation with some astrology soul-friends when someone asked me, “Have you ever looked at your Venus sign in relation to your business?”

Cue the lightbulb moment.

As I dug deeper into my Venus in Scorpio in the 4th house, everything clicked. I realized that:

✨ I’m here to lead people through deep transformation in the foundations of their business.
✨ Surface-level strategy will never feel satisfying to me—it has to be rooted in something real.
✨ I feel most magnetic when I’m grounded in safety and regulation—not fear or scarcity.

But at that point, I was operating from fear.
Fear of not being good enough.
Fear that I was behind.
Fear that I had built the wrong business and was wasting precious time.

When I understood what truly makes me feel valuable, magnetic, and in flow (thanks, Venus), I completely realigned my offers.

I rebuilt them from the inside out—starting with my own sense of purpose, satisfaction, and emotional well-being.

And that is when my business started to feel more like the real me.

5 Signs You’re in Alignment With Your Business

If you’ve ever felt off-track, unfulfilled, or uninspired in your business, you’re not alone. Here's how to know whether you’re building from alignment—or burnout:

1. You feel energized by your offers—not drained.

You want to talk about them. You love delivering them. You feel proud of what you’ve created.

2. Your content flows easily.

You’re not second-guessing everything you write or say. Your voice feels strong, and people get you.

3. Your clients feel like the right fit.

There’s resonance. There’s connection. You’re not constantly trying to prove your worth.

4. You feel confident—even if things aren’t perfect.

Because deep down, you know you’re building something that’s yours. That feels good. That fits.

5. You’re not afraid to tweak things.

When you’re aligned, change doesn’t feel like failure. It feels like refinement. Growth.

How to Start Finding Your Own Alignment

If you’re craving more alignment in your business, your Venus sign is a powerful place to start.

Venus shows us what feels valuable, what makes us magnetic, and what kind of offers will actually feel satisfying to create and sell. When your services reflect this, business feels good again.

And when you’re not operating from fear or trying to follow someone else’s version of success, you get to create something sustainable—something real.

Because alignment doesn’t come from chasing the right strategy.

It comes from knowing yourself deeply… and building from there.
